The East Line Tour takes you back into 5,000 years of history and is one of the most interesting and exciting tour. Apart from the world-famous Qin Terracotta Warriors, this tour also allows you to discover other famous and exciting treasures and historical sites which are all in close proximity with each other.

Tour prices include hiring of limousine and driver for 6 hours within the East Line only and do not include admission fees, tour guide fees and meals. Tour duration covers all the sites mentioned and varies according to traffic condition and the amount of time you plan to spend on each location. No refund will be given to any unvisited places and in exchange for other destinations beyond the East Line.
Itinerary
You may either depart the hotel after a hearty breakfast in our Caf¨¦ Restaurant or if you wish to keep the morning free, you may depart leisurely after an early lunch. Our experience driver will first take you to the Terracotta Warriors Museum which is situated 40km east of Xian city, a 50-min car journey form the hotel. Thereafter, you will have the chance to visit the Tomb of Qin Shihuang, Huaqing Palace Hot spring and the Ban Po Museum. After the tour, should you wish to go on a shopping tour or visit other destinations, you may continue to hire your limousine at a minimal charge by simply letting our driver know. |
1.Terra-cotta warriors

These incredible 8,000 life-size soldiers and their horses were discovered accidentally by a group of peasants who were digging a well in 1974. The Qin Emperor was thought to have buried them to await him in the after-lift. Over the last 20 years the Museum has developed and become the largest on-site museum in China, with its exquisite craftsmanship and imposing appearance.
The Museum consists of 3 main buildings which were named Pit1, Pit2 and Pit3, which were constructed on their original sites in different periods of time. Inside the pits, you will find the soldiers and their horses standing in battle formation. The army is stunningly well preserved and no two warriors are alike. The arches have bodies and limbs positioned in strict accordance with an ancient book named ¡°The Art of War¡±. Inside the souvenir shop, you will also be able to take a photo with the elderly gentleman who actually discovered the site! |
2.Huaqing Palace Hot spring

| Huaqing Palace is located at the foot of Lishan Mountain, about 30 km east of Xian City. The Hot Springs was the resort palace of many emperors who had come here to bathe and enjoy the natural scenery. The Hot Springs Palace was built by Emperor Xuan Zong of the Tang Dynasty and unfortunately, it was destroyed during the An Lushan Rebellion. The Huaqing Hot Spring Palace that we see today was rebuilt on the site of the Qing Dynasty structure after 1949. |
3.Tomb of Qin Shihuang
This tomb is better known as the tomb of the First Emperor. One by one, this powerful man defeated all his enemies. Qin¡¯s defences against intruders. It housed ceilings vaulted with pearls, statues of gold and silver. It is said that the Artisans who brought it all into being were buried alive within, taking its secrets with them. |

4. Ban Po Village museum

The Banpo Neolithic Village (banpo yizhi) lies 6 km east of Xian. This excavated site of a village dates back some 6,000 years and was first discovered in 1953. During that poeriod,the period, the village was called Yangshao and the distinct culture of these villagers was known as Yangshao culture. The site shows the houses and graves of some 300 people,giving insight into their primitive yet well developed lifestyle.Inside the village,you will discover |
| some 45 houses,6 pottery kilns, 200 storage pits, 250adults¡¯ tombs and children¡¯s burial jars which were unearthed. One thing to note is that although this site is mentioned in many guide books, today the site is pretty much a piece of flat land. |
